Marina Seaport IJmuiden.

| The Nordic Tug 37 reached the final of the Motor Boat of the Year Award in the Trawler and Aft Cabins category judged by Motor Boats Monthly and Motor Boat and Yachting. It also appeared on the front cover of the February issue of Motor Boats Monthly with an excellent boat revue inside. |

| Nordic Tug had its beginnings in 1970 with a series of beautiful double-ended ocean ketches based on a 1934 design. The company put out one boat a month for a full decade until it was acquired by new owners and reestablished as Nordic Tugs, Inc. In 1980 the first Nordic Tug, a Lynn Senour-designed 26-footer, became an instant success when it appeared at the Seattle Boat Show. |
